In addition to participating in Rotary International Projects (our latest project helped bring water to a school for orphans in Kenya), our club supports our local comminuties, schools, and those less fortunate than us with our expertise and contributions. In addition to being pretty thorough, the application shows some of the criteria used to determine eligibility for this prestigious award. The AZ Baker award is based on a club's contributions to Rotary's Four Avenues of Service.

In some cases we contributed in more than one way (for example we donated (money or items) to and members volunteered time to Akron Reads) so our club earned points for both contributions and they show up on more than one slide. Two items which are in planning stages are also included in the slides to provide a glimpse of upcoming opportunities to serve.
